Description

Amblegate is a cottage dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plaster, topped with a thatched half-hipped roof. The cottage has one storey and features a range of four windows, which consist of 19th and 20th century casements. There is a central original red brick chimney stack, and a small 20th century extension has been added at the rear.
