Description

Bluegate Farmhouse is a 16th-century house located in Bardfield End Green, Thaxted. It is a timber-framed building, with plaster rendering and a red plain tile roof. The house is two storeys high and has a T-shaped plan, incorporating a gabled wing on the south side. There are two windows in the central section and one window in the adjoining section, all with modern casements. Red brick chimneys are present.
