Description

Spring House is a 16th century house located on London Road in Great Horkesley. It is timber framed and roughcast, featuring two storeys and a U-shaped plan. The roofs are covered with peg tiles, with ridged and hipped sections, and gabled ends on the rear wings. There is a red brick chimney stack of 17th century style positioned centrally on the front ridge. The windows are modern sets of three casements fitted into the original openings, with a range of three on both the first and ground storeys. Additionally, there is a spring-fed well situated close to the rear wall.
