Description

Barnston Hall Barn, located 5 meters to the west of Barnston Hall, is a barn dating from the late 15th century to early 16th century. It features six bays and has a plain red tile roof that is half hipped to the east. The structure is timber framed with a brick plinth, and it is partly plastered and partly weatherboarded. The barn includes jowled posts and arch braced tie beams, with a side purlin roof. In the 19th and 20th centuries, it was used as a cart horse stable.
