Description

This outbuilding, located 5 metres to the northeast of Barnston Hall, is possibly a byre or stable dating from the 16th century or earlier. It features a red plain tile roof and is timber framed with brick nogging infill. The structure comprises three bays, supported by arch braced tie beams, jowled posts, and a side purlin roof. The studding on the east wall was altered when the nogging was added in the 18th century.
