Description

Burnthouse Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house that features a rear wing which is timber framed and plastered, dating from the 18th century or earlier. The building has red brick construction with yellow brick bands and window dressings, topped by red plain tiled roofs. It stands two storeys high and has four range casement windows. The central gabled porch is made of open red brick and has a red tiled roof with barge boards on the gable. The entrance includes a four-panel door with two lights, and there is a central red brick chimney stack.
