Description

The Red Lion Inn is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered building that has undergone significant alterations and additions. A later wing extends to the west at the south end, and another wing projects to the east at the rear. The building has two storeys, and the windows are primarily casements and double-hung sashes with glazing bars in the south wing. The roofs are covered with slate.
