Description

Church Farmhouse is a house dating from the 15th or 16th century, with several builds and later additions and alterations. It features a red plain tile roof with a central gable, an H plan, a left extension, and a hipped right extension. The house has a gabled dormer with an ornate barge board on the central range. It is timber framed and plastered, with a jettied left return. The building is two storeys high and has a window range of 2:1:1:1, featuring various casements, including three 19th-century transomed window bays on the ground floor. There are shaped red brick chimney stacks on the left and central sides, along with a truncated octagonal chimney stack with two shafts on a square base. Inside, there are notable features such as moulded and chamfered ceiling beams, original mullions, and doors.
