Description

Spade Cottage is a house dating from the mid-17th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range with 17th-century leaded casements. A gabled porch with a red plain tile roof is present at the front. The original red brick end wall chimney stacks have been partly restored. At the rear, there is a lean-to. Some original chevron pargetting can also be seen on the exterior.
