Description
Kings Farmhouse is a late 18th century house that has had 19th century extensions and alterations. It features a timber frame with plaster and painted brick, topped with a red plain tile roof that has pierced ridge tiles. The building is two storeys tall and has an L-shaped plan, with the 19th century extensions located at the rear. The front facade has two windows, which are 19th century vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. The rear wing includes 19th century casements with segmental heads and has two gabled dormers. The front entrance door is adorned with a flat moulded canopy supported by brackets and reeded pilasters, while the rear wing features a gabled porch. A red brick chimney stack completes the exterior.
