Description
Foxholes is an 18th-century cottage that is timber framed and plastered, topped with a hipped thatched roof. The building has one storey and attics, featuring eyebrow dormers on the east, south, and west sides. It showcases unusual segmental profiled groups of casement windows with cast iron frames. The front elevation has a simple front door on the left side, along with additional casement windows that also have iron frames. There are fragments of old pargeting, and the rear wall is tall with a red brick stack that has been largely rebuilt. At the back, there is a gabled red brick and peg tiled extension, as well as a 20th-century flat-roofed extension.
