Description

St Theresa's Catholic Church is a late 18th century or early 19th century timber-framed and plastered building located on Mill Side in Stansted Mountfitchet. The church features a plain parapet on its west front and has been extended at the rear in the 20th century. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range, with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars. The central entrance is a six-panel door, which is sheltered by a portico that has a flat cornice hood supported by slender columns.
