Description

This is a cottage located at the junction with Beaumont Hill in Great Dunmow, dating from the 18th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof that is hipped to the west. The cottage has one storey and features a three-window range with original and 20th-century leaded casements, along with 20th-century shutters. Above the door, there is a simple pediment supported by brackets. The original red brick chimney stack adds to its character.
