Description

No. 1 Beaumont Hill is a small cottage dating from the 18th century. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof that is gabled at one end and hipped at the other. The cottage is positioned at right angles to the road and features a small stack at the crest of the hip. The main elevation includes a simple central door, a three-light 19th-century casement window with a single horizontal glazing bar, and a two-light 19th-century casement window that has a similar design but includes a two-light panel above. This building is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
