Pair of houses. C18. Timber-framed, C19 painted brick facing, peg tile gambrel roof, central red brick stack. Rectangular plan of original house with C20 rear addition. 2 storeys, attics and cellars. Front, E elevation: 2 window range, segment heads, all sliding sashes, ground floor 6x4 panes, first floor 6x3 panes. House doorways both on N side, alternating with windows. Door of No.9 boarded with raised battens, No.11 similar with upper glazed panel. Both houses have single dormer window with swept roof, sliding sashes, 6x3 panes. Low cellar window arches. Rear, W elevation: high gambrel roof with addition below, shared secondary C19 red brick stack. No.9 has both a slate roofed lean-to with skylight and back door below, and a full 2-storey C20 flat roofed brick addition shared with No.11. Both houses have a C20 2-light casement window on ground and first floors, both back doors on outer end of elevations, C20 with upper glazing, 2x3 panes, lower panels.
