Description

This granary and dovecote, located 80 metres north of Hatfield Park, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with grey-black headers and features an octagonal shape topped with an octagonal pyramid roof covered in peg tiles. On the south side, there is an access door with a segmental arched brick head, while the northeast face of the roof has a hipped, dormer-like access. Inside, the original raised boarded granary floor, a ladder stair, and grain bins remain virtually unaltered.
