Description

The dovecote, located 50 meters northeast of Barnston Hall, dates from the late 15th century. It is timber framed, with sections that are plastered and weatherboarded, topped by a hipped roof made of red plain tiles. The roof features a central raised section that is gabled and ridged. The wall frames still contain some nest boxes. A first floor was added in the late 17th century.
