Description

Mountgate is a house located in Willows Green, Felsted. It dates back to the 15th century, with alterations from the 17th century and later additions. The building has two storeys, featuring a hall with a crosswing on the left and a single-storey extension to the left. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and includes a gabled dormer above the hall range. The crosswing has a French door and a sliding sash window with glazed margins. There are also two small paned casements on either side and a square red brick chimney stack. A wing extends to the rear of the house.
