Description

The waiting room on the east side of the line at Elsenham Station is a small, mid-19th century building constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding. It features a timber canopy that has an ornamental shaped fascia, supported by cast iron columns with ornamental arched braces. The building is one storey high and has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars in the upper sashes. The roof is tiled and includes a central chimney stack.
