Description

Old Mead is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house with a 18th-century addition at the rear. It is two storeys high. A projecting, two-story porch wing is centrally located on the front facade and features a hipped tiled roof. The front elevation has a six-window range, arranged as 2:1:3, with leaded casement windows on the upper storey and double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on the ground storey. The roof is tiled, with half-hipped ends to the north and south.
