Description

The Old Place is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered building that was originally a range of cottages but is now used as a single tenement. The structure has been renovated, with some of the timber-framing exposed and additional construction added. It has one storey and attics, featuring modern casement windows. The south front includes two ground storey bays. The roof is thatched and has dormers, along with two central chimney stacks; one is 17th century with grouped diagonal shafts, while the other has three square shafts set diagonally.
