Description

Fieldgate Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house. The lower portion of the exterior is weather-boarded. The house has two storeys and contains small casement windows, some with leaded lights; two bays on the ground floor are modern additions. The roof is tiled, with a half-hipped design at the east and west ends, featuring an original central chimney stack with two diagonal shafts set on a square base.
