Description

Gate Cottage is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house. It has a weather-boarded ground storey and was renovated in the 20th century. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window front, featuring small casement windows. A modern gabled porch projects from the front of the building. The roof is thatched and hipped at both the east and west ends, with a central square chimney stack.
