Description

Pear Tree Farmhouse is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It has one storey and an attic, topped with a thatched roof. The structure is timber framed and plastered, featuring two casement windows with diamond leaded lights. The front has a 20th-century door adorned with a pediment and brackets. On the left side, there is a red brick external chimney stack and a red plain tiled lean-to, which likely includes remnants of a bake-oven. A red brick chimney stack is located on the right side. Inside, there is an original Inglenook fireplace.
