Description
Grange Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring a red plain tiled roof with gabled crosswings on both the right and left sides, along with a rear range. The house has external red brick chimney stacks on the left and rear right. It is two storeys high and has a window arrangement of 1:2:1, consisting of various small paned vertically sliding sashes, some of which are tripartite, and casements. The central entrance features a probably 20th-century six-panelled door with a moulded surround, supported by Ionic columns that hold up a moulded pediment.
