Description
Hill House is an 18th-century house located on Colchester Road in St. Osyth. It is constructed of red brick and features a double range roof covered with red plain tiles. The building stands two storeys high and is adorned with red brick chimney stacks on both the left and right sides. A central band runs across the façade, which includes three small paned vertically sliding sash windows with segmental brick arches on both the ground and first floors. Above the entrance door, there is a similar arch above a door that features ornate spider web tracery, which is said to be made of brass. The ground floor windows are fitted with shutters, and the façade includes reveal panels, a moulded surround, a frieze, and a flat canopy. The entrance door is a four-panelled, two-light design.
