Description

English House is a house dating from the 18th to 19th century, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed of red brick and features a gambrelled red tiled roof with an outshot to the rear. There are external red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. The building has two storeys and attics, with two flat-headed dormers. The front has a two-window range of vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars, and there is an angled oriel window on the first floor to the right. The central entrance has a part-glazed door with a small lead tent canopy above. This building is included for its group value.
