Description

Russell House is a house dating from the 19th century, though it may have earlier origins. It features a red brick exterior with a plastered rear wall and a red plain tiled roof that has an outshot at the rear. The building has two rear red brick chimneys and stands two storeys tall with cellars. The front has a three-window range consisting of 19th and 20th century vertically sliding sashes with gauged brick arches above them. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a fanlight above, surrounded by a moulded frame and supported by moulded brackets that hold up a flat canopy. This building is included for its group value.
