Description
This is an 18th-century dovecote located approximately 7 metres northeast of The Quarters in Alresford Park. It is constructed of red brick and features a red plain tiled roof. The dovecote has a square plan and includes a vertically boarded door, with a louvred opening on the south face. The roof is pyramidal and topped with a square, partially plastered shaft that also has a pyramidal roof. Some timber pigeon holes can still be seen high up on the walls.
