Description

Bat Hall is a cottage dating from around 1700. It has a timber frame and is plastered, topped with a thatched roof featuring two eyebrow dormers. A central red brick chimney stack rises from the roof. The cottage is one storey with attics and has a two-window range of diamond leaded casements. There is a central gabled porch with a 20th-century door. The timber frame appears to be intact, showcasing chamfered bridging joists and through bracing to the walls. The current owner possesses documentary evidence that dates the building to 1702.
