Description

Old Post Cottage is an 18th and 19th century timber-framed cottage, now with a painted brick facade. The returns are weatherboarded and plastered. It has a red plain tiled gambrel roof that extends at the rear, and a central chimney stack built of red brick. The cottage is one storey high with attics, featuring two gabled dormers. There are three small, vertically sliding sash windows. To the left is a vertically boarded door set within a gauged brick arch. A single-storey lean-to extension is located on the left side.
