Description
This cartlodge, located approximately 50 metres northeast of Doggetts Farmhouse, dates from the 18th or 19th century. It is timber framed with a hipped roof that is now covered in corrugated asbestos. The structure consists of six bays and has a rectangular plan with entrances at both ends. The frame is well-preserved and of good quality, featuring a side purlin ridge board roof, halved and bladed top plate scarf joints, braces to the top plates, and hanging knees to the tie beams. Carpenter's marks can be seen on the principal timbers. This building is part of the farm complex.
