Description
The table tomb, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately two metres southeast of the southeast angle of the chancel at the Church of All Saints in Barling Magna. It is made of stone and features three panels on the north and south faces, with the central panels being plain and the end panels adorned with four acanthus leaves. The east face displays a skull and crossbones, while the west face has an hourglass and wings. The top slab has a moulded edge. The tomb bears an inscription commemorating George Asser, who died in 1674, and his wife Susanna, who died in 1658.
