Description

This 19th-century suction pump is located approximately 3 metres south of the Sports Pavilion on Vicarage Lane in Tillingham. It is made of cast iron and is supported by a timber post. The pump features a banded and fluted upper stem and spout, a bucket hook attached to the spout, and a curved handle. There is also a flag label on the stem.
