Description
Fulmar House is a 19th-century office and house located in Maldon. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a gabled plain tile roof. It has two storeys and a four-window range, with slated lean-tos on each unit and an additional 20th-century lean-to with aluminium windows on No. 3A. The front of the building has two ridgeline stacks and four canted oriel bay windows on the first floor, which have flat roofs and sash windows with a single vertical glazing bar, now fitted with leaded-light glazing. The ground floor features a continuous fascia supported by eleven short pilasters, enclosing plain leaded-light windows, some of which have transoms and ventilators above. There is a flat-roofed recessed extension from the 20th century at the north-east end, which includes a six-panel door leading to No. 5 and a window above it. The exposed brick on the flank is red and laid in Flemish bond. The interior has not been inspected.
