Description
The Wayre is a house built around 1850, featuring two storeys and attics. It is constructed of stock bricks laid in Flemish bond, with a stone plinth and a band at the first floor. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and it includes three round-topped dormers with small paned sash windows. There are stock brick chimney stacks on both the left and right sides, each topped with six Coade stone pots. The eaves are supported by single modillions.
On the first storey, there is a range of five hornless small-paned sash windows with stone sills. The central door on the ground storey is accessed by three stone steps and features a broken pediment supported by two Doric columns, along with an arched head and fanlight. On either side of the door, there are two matching round-headed sash windows set in round-headed recesses with stone imposts.
