Description

Chestnut Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage, which may have an earlier frame. It stands two storeys tall and is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior. The roof is ridged and thatched. There are single-storey outshuts at either end of the building. The cottage features stock brick chimneys. On the first storey, there are three sets of modern casement windows, with three matching on the ground storey. Additionally, there is a peg-tiled lean-to porch on the east front.
