Description

Number 70 and the adjoining cottage are two dwellings that date from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. The exterior is roughly rendered and features a forward projecting central gabled crosswing with a half-hipped roof covered in red plain tiles. The building has one storey and attics, with a window arrangement of three small paned casements. The central entrance consists of a plank and muntin Gothic door flanked by sidelights and topped with a drip hood. Bargeboards adorn the gables, and there are red brick chimney stacks on the left and central sections. There are wings extending to the rear on both the right and left sides.
