Description
A pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They are timber-framed with plastered gable ends and weatherboarded elsewhere. The roof is covered in handmade red clay plain tiles, with 19th-century Roman tiles used on dormers and lean-to extensions. A chimney stack containing four flues is situated in the partition wall along the ridge. There are lean-to extensions at each end, added in the 19th century. The cottages are single storey with attics. One door is a 4-panel design with glazed upper panels, and the other is a plain boarded door. Two horizontally sliding 12-light sash windows are present, along with two more in swept dormers.
