Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is an early 17th-century house. It is timber-framed and was originally plastered with a weatherboarded front. The roof is half-hipped and gambrel shaped, with sections covered in red plain tiles and red pantiles. The house has two storeys and a three-window front. It features 20th-century leaded casement windows. There are three gabled dormers, each with bargeboards, and a 20th-century gabled porch. A central chimney stack is constructed of original red brick.
