Description

Blewgates Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a hipped roof made of red plain tiles. The building has two storeys and features a double range plan. The front has three windows that are early 20th-century casements with glazing bars. A porch supported by Tuscan columns has a flat canopy, and there is a rectangular fanlight above the door. The farmhouse also has red brick chimney stacks.
