Description

This is a tomb with railings located approximately 120 feet from the west porch of the Church of St. Margaret of Antioch in Stanford Rivers. It commemorates William Smith, who died in 1842, and Mary Rayner, who died in 1873. The tomb features a table tomb on a plain base and is situated about 20 feet to the right of the drive leading to the church. The enclosing railings are made of wrought iron, designed with attractive arrowheads and fluted rails. The posts are likely cast iron, adorned with mouldings and urnheads.
