Description

Rundells is an 18th-century house, extended in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a roof of handmade red clay tiles. Originally arranged in an L-shape, it features chimney stacks in the northeast gable and along the axis of the rear (southeast) wing. A 19th-century extension occupies the angle of the house and extends to the east, while a single-storey lean-to has been added to the southern angle. A 20th-century extension is located at the southeast end of the front elevation.

The house is two storeys with attics. The northwest elevation features a central, pilastered doorcase flanked by ornamental lions. There are two six-light sash windows with wide stucco surrounds and convex sheet glass on the ground floor, with three similar windows on the first floor and one four-light sash window in the southwest extension. A small gable sits above the southwest extension. The original roof has raised verges with stone kneelers. The rear extension showcases flat arches constructed with gauged brickwork over the windows.
