Description
Horseshoes Farm is a 17th-century lobby-entrance house that has been extended in the 20th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The building consists of four bays aligned northeast to southwest, featuring an axial chimney stack located in the second bay from the northeast. The original lobby-entrance to the southeast is now blocked. The house has two storeys and a five-window range of 20th-century casements. The exterior is decorated with pargetting that includes a basketwork combed design in panels. The date "AD 1612" is displayed in applied lettering on the pargetted wall.
