Description
Pinch Timber Farmhouse is a house that dates from the mid-16th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a hipped wing at the rear. The front has a two-window range with 19th-century vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars and sidelights. There is a single-storey lean-to extension on the north and east sides of the house. A notable feature is the 16th-century red brick chimney stack, which has grouped diagonal shafts. Some of the original timber frame is exposed on the interior.
