Description

Nos. 8 and 9 Brook Street comprise a 17th-century house consisting of two parallel ranges, with the rear range being smaller. The house was originally arranged as two tenements. It is constructed of red brick with a ridged, gabled, and peg-tiled roof and a red brick chimney stack. The front features a pair of plain doors, flanked on either side by modern bow windows. Two modern bow windows are also located on the first storey, set beneath tile eaves.
