Description
Boxted Vicarage is a vicarage from the 18th and 19th centuries, constructed from gault brick in Flemish bond. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The roof is hipped in a U-plan, covered with slate, and features three gault chimney stacks. The building has pilastered returns and a central recess that houses an Ionic portico with fluted columns and an entablature. On either side of the portico, there are pairs of small pane hornless sash windows; the top sashes are square, while the lower sashes are tall rectangles set under straight stucco arches. The first storey has a range of three similar sash windows, all with stone sills.
