Description
Nos 2, 4, 6, 8, and 8A on High Street are buildings from the 17th century and later. They feature a central timber-framed double range with lower two-storey extensions on both the north and south sides, which are made of painted brick. The central range has a parapet with an eaves band and a semi-hexagonal bow window on the first storey. There is a shop front from around 1900 on the ground floor, consisting of three bays and five modern pilasters. The north extension has a slate roof and two small-paned sash windows on the first storey, along with a 19th-century door and case on both the north and south sides. There are modern windows throughout, and the overall plan is complex with several extensions at the rear.
