Description

The Old Bakehouse is a 16th-century house situated on a T-plan, with a projecting range along West Street. The property has ridged and gabled roofs covered in pegtiled tiles, featuring two red brick chimneys, one framed and plastered in West Street, and another with moulded leatherboards on the west bay. The east side features painted brickwork, while the front facing High Street is rendered and was formerly jettied. A small pair of casement windows with multiple panes is located in the cast gable, and the other windows are modern. There is also a single-bay range extending to the south.
