Description

Mill House is a house dating to the 16th century, with later additions from the 18th and 19th centuries. The building has a complex plan and a mix of roof styles, including ridged and gabled sections, all covered with peg tiles. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, with a grey gault brick addition to the south end. It is mainly two storeys high, with small-paned sash windows. Some gables are jettied, and a few vergeboards are of medieval origin. The main range features two 17th-century face-gables and a 17th-century porch. This building holds group value, contributing to the character of the area.
